welcome

Are you looking for a safe space to talk through what’s going on? Do you want a therapy experience that helps you get to know yourself better, and also helps you break old patterns? Are you interested in how mindfulness and somatic awareness can complement talk therapy to help you get out of your head?

you’ve come to the right place

I specialize in blending somatic and evidence based therapies to help highly sensitive people who are struggling with their mental health to find their center and get unstuck from difficult patterns.

I have special insight into the needs of artists, new parents, and individuals in high stress careers, and bring a trauma-informed approach to exploring themes of body image and disordered eating.

My style is warm, curious and collaborative. I offer a safe space for you to talk through what is going on, and I help you understand why things may be feeling the way they are feeling.

Additionally, you will have opportunities to engage in mindfulness-based explorations to deepen your understanding of yourself. You will also have opportunities to learn and practice new skills and strategies for greeting life’s difficulties, your thoughts, and your feelings.

Together we can slow down and begin to heal.

You are welcome here!

My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming and I strive for humility and curiosity around themes of race and faith.

new in 2025: Groups

The Restoration Zone for New Parents

Part process, part practice and part meet-up, The Restoration Zone is a space for rest and connection with yourself and other new parents.

This group offers mental health check-ins, mindfulness practice and gentle stretching. The group is open to gestational and non-gestational parents of all genders, and is intended for parents of newborns and babies.

The weekly meeting will be online during lunchtime on Wednesdays (12:30-1:30). Participants will also be invited to free monthly weekend meet ups, which will take place in the mornings on Saturdays or Sundays.

Babies are welcome to the lunchtime meetings, and parents are also invited to attend without their babies, if possible.

BODY ACCEPTANCE GROUP

Do you struggle with accepting your body as it is? Do you ever feel caught up obsessing about how you could change your body, and wish you could find a new way to relate to yourself? Are you struggling with body image related to your body’s size or shape, or recent body changes?

Together we will unpack life experiences that impact our relationships with our bodies, learn practices for coping with body image distress, and explore strategies for cultivating self care that is rooted in non-violence towards our bodies.

This group will incorporate skills and practices from The Body Positive Model, as well as from mindfulness practice, yoga and DBT.

Group is open to adults of any gender. Parents are welcome to attend with babies.

I came to explore the wreck. / The words are purposes. / The words are maps.
I came to see the damage that was done / and the treasures that prevail.
