ASSOCIATES
I employ and provide clinical supervision to masters level Registered Associate Social Workers and Marriage and Family Therapists who are accruing hours towards licensure. Associates in my practice are engaged in ongoing weekly training in theory, ethics, safety and process. Additionally, associates have experience providing psychotherapy to adults and adolescents in private practice and other settings.

JOSHUA SULLIVAN, ACSW
Courage is a powerful virtue. In fact, Maya Angelou claimed that courage is the most important of all the virtues because without courage, you can’t practice any other virtue consistently. Joshua is passionate about supporting those finding the courage to do the hard things, whilst also healing the inner child. Lifelong growth, healing one's relationship with food and self, and providing a safe and comfortable space to explore are things he strives for in his sessions. Joshua is direct, yet warm, empathy driven, collaborative, and curious - he truly just wants to see you thrive and prosper through the therapeutic experience!
Joshua specializes in working with adolescents and adults struggling with eating disorders, anxiety, and OCD. He believes in a holistic, person centered, strength-based approach while also utilizing evidence-based practices such as Intuitive Eating, ERP, DBT, CBT, and ACT. He also implements mindfulness based modalities and HAES ideologies in the therapy space.
Joshua is culturally sensitive and LGBTQ+ affirming. He has experience in multiple levels of care including residential, community, partial hospitalization, and outpatient programs.
Joshua holds a BA in Psychology from Chapman University and a MSW from APU.
